For SEO and UX support, Ultra-Decking retained ActiveWin after previously engaging several agencies which were unable to produce results for its home improvement business online.

The main objective was for Ultra-Decking to rank organically comparatively or better than main business competitors for the top industry keywords. The client needed to see results prior to the end of the home-improvement busy season.

What We Did

Ultra Decking operates in the highly competitive home improvement sector, so our strategists set to work finding areas where we could quickly make an impact- and build from there. Largely starting from scratch in terms of UX and organic rankings, ActiveWin completely overhauled the UX and design of the site.

From there, we implemented hundreds of technical SEO changes while adding crucial backlinks, while using internal links to pass relevancy onto target pages.

Results

Within three months, the site went from no indexed pages at all to ranking on Page 1 for four of the top five competitive keywords.

The quality and volume of the traffic improved significantly too, and key metrics such as visit duration and returning visitors showed remarkable increases.

The results surpassed the expectations of the client and even our own SEO team’s forecasts.
